Using a blow molding machine to process plastic bottles is a common processing item in plastic processing. So, what aspects should be emphasized in this processing? What I want to tell you is temperature, which is crucial for processing plastic bottles. When operating a blow molding machine for processing, it is necessary to pay attention to temperature control to ensure the production of suitable plastic bottles.
Non flowing temperature: The highest temperature at which no flow occurs under a certain pressure. It is to add a certain amount of plastic into the material cylinder at the upper end of the capillary rheometer mouth mold, heat it to a certain temperature, and maintain a constant temperature of 10 minutes. Then, apply a constant pressure of 50 MPa. If the material does not flow out of the mouth mold, increase the material temperature by 10 degrees after unloading the pressure. After holding for 10 minutes, apply the same constant pressure again. Continue this process until the melt flows out of the mouth mold, and reduce this temperature by 10 degrees, which is the non flowing temperature of the material. Flow temperature TF: refers to the temperature at which amorphous polymers transition from a highly elastic state to a viscous flow state. The lower limit of processing temperature for amorphous plastics. Decomposition temperature TD: refers to the temperature at which the degradation of polymer chains intensifies when the temperature of the polymer in a viscous flow state further increases, reaching the temperature at which the polymer molecular chains are significantly degraded. Melting temperature TM: For crystalline polymers, it refers to the temperature at which the three-dimensional long-range ordered state of the macromolecular chain structure transforms into a disordered viscous flow state, also known as the melting point. It is the lower limit of the molding and processing temperature for crystalline polymers. Glass transition temperature TG: refers to the temperature at which amorphous polymers (including the amorphous portion in crystalline polymers) transition from the glassy state to the highly elastic state or from the latter to the former. It is the minimum temperature for the free movement of amorphous polymer polymer chains and the upper limit of the working temperature of the product.
